PALNI joins DOERS3 to advance open educational resources

DOERS 3 logoINDIANAPOLIS—The Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI) is excited to announce its membership in the Driving OER Sustainability for Student Success (DOERS3) Collaborative, joining 41 public higher education systems and statewide organizations across North America. Launched in 2018, DOERS3 serves 9.3 million students at more than 1,000 colleges and universities, advancing student success through the promotion of free, customizable Open Educational Resources (OER).

As a DOERS3 member, PALNI will collaborate with peer institutions to scale and sustain OER initiatives, contribute to policy discussions, and develop tools that demonstrate the impact of OER on educational equity and student outcomes.

"Joining DOERS3 aligns with PALNI's commitment to increasing access and affordability in higher education through innovative OER initiatives," said Amanda Hurford, PALNI’s Scholarly Communications Director. "This partnership will further enhance the impact of the Lilly Endowment-funded PALSave: PALNI Affordable Learning Program and other open education efforts by enabling us to collaborate with like-minded organizations dedicated to advancing open education."
